Matizar afirmaciones
Ejemplos
The data suggest a possible delay.Los datos apuntan a un posible retraso.Suggest presenta una interpretación, no una prueba.
It appears that the system is responding.Parece que el sistema está respondiendo. It appears that: describes lo que observas sin asegurarlo.
The problem is likely to be caused by the new update. Be likely to: algo probable, pero aún sin confirmar.
Error típico
✗ The data prove that the delay is certain.
✓ The data suggest that a delay is likely.
💡 Observación → show; interpretación → suggest, may, seem; prueba sólida → prove.
