Preguntas indirectas

Pregunta con cortesía sin invertir el orden del sujeto y el verbo.

La regla

Tras Could you tell me…, Do you know… o I wonder…, la pregunta incrustada lleva orden de afirmación: sujeto + verbo (where the station is), sin do, does ni did. Si es una pregunta de sí/no, añade if o whether: Do you know if the shop is open?

Ejemplos

Do you know what time the film starts?¿Sabes a qué hora empieza la película?Sin does: what time the film starts, con la -s en el verbo.
Can you tell me if this seat is free?¿Me puedes decir si este asiento está libre?Pregunta de sí/no: añade if (o whether).
