Atribuye información a otros con It is said that… o She is believed to…
La regla
Para contar lo que se dice sin afirmarlo tú, hay dos estructuras: It is said / reported / believed that + frase completa, o sujeto + is said / believed + to + infinitivo: She is believed to be abroad. Si el hecho es anterior, usa to have + participio: He is said to have left. Son típicas de noticias e informes.
Ejemplos
It is reported that the road is closed.Según las informaciones, la carretera está cortada.It is + participio + that + frase completa.
She is believed to be abroad.Se cree que está en el extranjero.Sujeto + is believed + to + infinitivo.
The thieves are said to have escaped by car.Se dice que los ladrones huyeron en coche.To have + participio: la huida es anterior a lo que se dice.
Error típico
✗ She is believed that she is abroad.
✓ She is believed to be abroad.
Con la persona como sujeto, la estructura es is believed + to + infinitivo, sin that.
💡 It is said that + frase; sujeto + is said + to + verbo. No mezcles las dos.
